Our friend that came over to give Pat a blessing volunteered to mow our lawns. Then our neighbor also volunteered. (it's not looking terrible, it just creeped into our conversations) I am so grateful for their kindness. I believe we are going to ask one of the young men in our ward to mow the lawn, and pay them, that way we can help them out as well. Nevertheless, I love when kindness is shown by friends, neighbors, and family...it makes me smile inside...and out.
PS - our friend called again, he is currently mowing our lawn. My, we are blessed. :)
