For the past year or so we've been spending the holidays alone, together. While we enjoy the peace and quiet (at times) we sure do miss spending those holidays with our children, children-in-law and grandchildren. Fortunately for us Brad's family is having a reunion beginning this weekend. Brad's parent's home is not large enough to hold another 12 adults and 18 children...so Brad and Amy have been assigned to our house. Not a bad deal for us at all.
While we don't get to have Easter dinner with them, we at least get them for the morning on Easter. Hooray! In fact, Brad and Amy are at the present time on their way to our house from Oregon.
I am grateful we don't have to spend the entire Easter holiday alone. I really dislike doing that.
