Today I drove to Sacramento to visit with my mom, sister and whatever other family members were available. I knew it was going to be a stormy day and was it ever! The storm was fierce, so much so that the California drivers that never slow down for ANYTHING did! At one point I felt my car begin to hydroplane (and I wasn't even going that fast) so I turned off the power steering and allowed the car to slow down, which made everything better, no more hydroplaning! On my way home there were 3 accidents going north, thankfully I wasn't behind any of them.
I am grateful for the safety I had today; and I hope that everyone else I know is enjoying the same...and those I don't know also!
