One of the reasons for my visiting Amy & Rach at this time of year was to escape the sweltering temperatures in the central valley. Unfortunately that did not happen, they too, are experiencing the heat wave that has gripped the U.S..
There are many homes/apartments here that do not have central heat and air. Amy's is one of those. With the temperature being so high she and Brad purchased ac units, one for downstairs and the other for the boy's room ...bless their hearts!!! I am so grateful for their new air conditioners!!
On another note, when Pat returned home he found that our ac needs to be fixed. Thank goodness we have an abundance of fans! And...here's to hoping it will be fixed by the time I go home!! (And not toooo expensive!)
