As I mentioned, we are leaving on a trip. At first the plan was to just make dinners available for my mom that she could pop in the microwave. After talking to a friend about it, she is now going to bring dinner nightly for my mom, and Sunday dinner for our return home! Our neighbor has offered to look in on my mom, leave their phone number with her in case she needs anything, that sort of thing. Then my VT called today and offered to help out in any way.
I am so grateful for the helpers in my life...that willingly, and lovingly, give service to our family, sure makes going away much easier. They are wonderful.
